WEEK 7
LEARNINGS
-I was introduced to interfaces, I started to understand what those are and what you can make with them, I never knew before that it was such a powerful tool
COLLABORATIVE LEARNINGS
3
MAKER SKILLS AND ATTITUDE
-I learned how to use basic functions of writing interfaces and most importantly I understood what I was actually writing, thanks to Moritz's very broad explanation about it
-as mentioned before from the beginning of the week I was learning the most from Moritz, about the basics of processing and what it actually does
-when I started with an actual assignment Loes was there to help me with connecting the sensor, we had several problems by collecting data from the sensor and connecting it to the processing but with Loes's help I managed to get it working
-even though I didn't know from the beginning of the week what interfaces are or how are we going to connect it to the sensor, I managed at the end of the week to make it work and I was actually quite happy with the end result, so that made me believe in my work and skills more
-for the rest for eh days I was working by myself, trying to make a relevant research question and an interface which would look visually appealing
-by the intention of collecting data from the sensors, I also deepened my knowledge about coding and how certain sensors work, for example I got to know the tilt sensor and how it works and how to connect it to collect data from it
-researched how you can visualise the data in a bit more broad way, not only with tables and graphs but actually making a concept for the visualisation of the data you want to present
-since we had to work alone this week I got to learn also that I can manage to do things which I do not know about yet efficiently and learn it fast
-I realised that the only way to learn about the interfaces is by making several try outs and seeing what certain function does
